I am currently working full time as an ARB architect in the UK. I opened a limited firm for architectural visualisations and I want to start undertaking full time contractual work for anything related todesign/architecture/visualisation to earn a better income.

Has anyone done anything like this? And does anyone know what is the salary difference between permenant and contractual work?

I would love some recommendations for recruiters that can find me contractural work.

What’s the best way to turn down a 2nd interview? During the 1st interview, I learned that the compensation for the role is not within the range that I am looking for and requires 400 more billable hours a year than what I bill now. I’d basically be laterally for my current salary just to bill 400 more hours. I also wasn’t aware that the local office was strictly ID. Firm website advertises lots of practice areas. Any advice? I had call with the HR for he position based out of Mumbai everything in interview and they are ready to share the offer. however, I quoted for 10 lakhs and they said for fixed pay of 8.75.
Although, i checked on Google as well average pay they are giving is 9.7 lakh
So should I accept the offer as per their negotiation or shall positively tell them why 10 lakh is justified?

What is a % range bump you can see in comp as you progress from Associate to SA at an MM firm? How about within Associate years (A1 vs. A2)? Got an offer from a secondaries firm and curious to know what the jumps are.

It feels like my pay and title are lower than my scope of duties. I manage Youtube channels and do all strategy, planning, talent management, rework content for socials, reporting, graphic design, + a bunch of other stuff. Quite curious, why are there so little dining places in SoMa given the number of high risers here?

Earlier today I was on a video conference call reviewing a Private Label Agreement template with a larger company who wishes to brand label products we develop and manufacture. I got an offer to work at a Gensler office, but something has come up and need to move/work in a different city. Can I ask them to transfer me before I accept the offer? Will they do this if there is the same role currently open in the new city?
