If you don't know Python and SQL Learn it first and then try to do Some courses on Data Science and ML ,you don't need to spend too much money on that too ,you can find so many Good resources on YouTube and in Coursera and other platforms.
First select one role which one u wanna be or select the common skills you need to learn in different roles in data Science & ML.
Then learn those first and then Try to do Projects on them and showcase them on your resume and in LinkedIn profile and start applying for jobs once u believe you are ready.

AI ML Involves a lot of coding . Try a course on python from Udemy or YouTube to see if it interests you.
Looking for a good recommendation from where to pursue this certification from
This is complete syllabus for ML and AI:
https://www.scaler.com/dsml-detailed-curriculum
IN SHORT: Basics of Tableau and Excel, SQL, Python, its libraries and object oriented concepts in python, probability and statistics (relevant sections only for both of these), relevant Maths for Machine Learning, Machine Learning - Supervised, Unsupervised, Recommender systems, ML Ops, Deep Learning, Computer Vision, NLP, Generative AI and finally Data Structures and Algorithms basics.
This can give you job in MAANG companies if you can do this and do some project and show it to the interviewer in next 8-12 months.
My 2 bits: 1. since there is a plenty of material on internet, focus is import. Pick any one and finish it.
2. Don’t invest too much in coaching etc. At max 500 (udemy) or Free Coursera!
3. Don’t try to do PHD in every topic or subject. Just get basic concepts and then do hands on. Later increase your depth.
4. Have patience! It will take some time. Keep on doing projects and keep upskilling.
5. While it is important to know whats going on new in the industry, it is equally important to focus and not hop on from one to another.
Estimated Time: 4-6 Months(considering you can give full time). Feel free to ask any question if you want. Thanks and all the best!
where to find industry related projects so that i will impact employer and my resume.
Yes firt get basic of python programming for analytics, SQL and basic Probability and Statistics cleared.
It's a good thought. But you should get your basics right in next 8-10 months.

What are your plans for questions on career gap? N are you going to join as a fresher in ai ? Think about it
That is where I take a back step . Knowing that AI Jobs will have an upper hand later but starting fresh will have its cons coz by the time I'll be experienced, I'll be at an age of retirement. .
Unless I Start with a good CTC and for that not many institutes are there who can help with the same as all are scamming under the Banner of Job Guarantee
Point being is it worth doing from institutes claiming Job Guarantee and all the course in just 6 months
Or
Better to start from the basics first, understand python and related topics before investing money . . And much obvious with a credible institution
Most of the job guarantee consultancies don't give you a job and that is for sure...so I suggest the second one..learn the basics first
I'll be honest here
I am getting mixed reviews about AI or Data Science
My current status is Unemployed since May 2022
I did PMP in the hope that I can grab hold of an opportunity but didn't work out
Now I am almost done with my savings
Not sure if I should invest into Basics and then do AI which should take almost a Year
And, not to forget I'll still be unemployed
I should seek an opportunity first (which seems to be negative these days)
Or
Invest into Basics for learning while being unemployed
Or
Grab an opportunity first (unfortunately which is not working well for me)

I suggest u get a job first and learn basics along with that ,it will easily take more than 6 months to learn DS and ML and You need to have Good Skills or referrals to get a job In ML because competition is very very high in this field .
And also Don't spend any money on any Bootcamp or Job Guaranteed programs they promise first but In reality they are just looting money ,they are not even providing good content Nd they couldn't give u the job they are supposed to give.
To start with learning ML learn basics of statistics and python. Krish Naik has amazing learning playlist you can start with his playlist
What's your current CTC?
