I have secured positive feedback from interviews and awaiting negotiation call. However it has been 3-4 days since I shared my documents. Does it take that long for negotiation call to come? Or is it something I should worry about? Can anyone give me any tip? Thanks.

Does anyone feel they interview poorly because of their nerves, even if you prepare prior to the interview and find good examples of your skills and experience to match the role requirements? My nerves always get the best of me and I tend to ramble when I’m nervous. I had a phone interview with the hiring manager and members of the team that the role would be working with and I feel like I shot myself in the foot a few times. Does anyone have any tips to get past their nerves in the interview?

1. Will proceed for interview even if expected CTC is over budget just to waste your’s & interviewer’s time
2. Won’t inform you even if you are selected by the hiring panel in case any candidate currently being interviewed has a lower CTC ask & makes promises without being aware of what she can get on paper just to give lame reasons post 4-5 rounds of interview. I have a phone screen interview with AWS for the position of Systems Engineer with the Linux team early next week. I’ve been a Sys Admin for the last 4 years, and I’m not very well-versed with coding. The phone screen does have whiteboard coding, any tips on what I could do to prepare for this? I’m not sure if I can let the interviewer know I’m not too strong with coding. I do want to take up the challenge, and also find out if the role would require extensive coding though. Any tips?

Do we really still support SHRM? I was a fan when I first got in HR now though I’ve had a few second thoughts. I also used to volunteer to review scholarships they provided, but after the last SHRM conference I started asking myself, why pay…. I also keep update myself outside of SHRM as I’ve had multi-site and country responsibility so I’ve had to usually keep uptodate.

Hi guys/gals: looking for advice to switch from tax to Tech Consulting. Any pointers/certifications/etc.?
Hello, I have left consulting career to build a portfolio of careers. I am a founder of Life Startup, we do future workforce and employee wellbeing as well as work with individuals helping them design their next chapter in life. I'm also a yoga teacher and an artist.
I've never been more fulfilled in my life and my purpose is to share this with as many unfulfilled and potentially burnt out consultants and professionals out there.
If you are looking for a change, DM me, I'll be happy to chat!
Didn't end up making the cut in Strategy consulting case interviews. Would really like to do strategy / S&O some day. I love using data to inform decision-making.
Wondering if it would make sense to continue consulting in implementation then try to pivot again in the future or at another level - or drop consulting & try to get a strategy job at a startup or maybe do something else at a larger company and try to pivot internally.
Background is tech + MBA. Any insight appreciated!

After doing some serious soul searching, I want to pivot into SWE/web development. Preferably full stack. Only on point experience is having built 3 personal websites in Wordpress = nothing but something that shows my passion?
Going to try for the bootcamp path. But, would love to speak to some SWEs. I think 70% of my network is lawyers.
Thanks for starting the bowl John. Huge fan of BCG Texas.
