I am Prateek Rana – a Strategy and Operations professional with 6 years of experience.
Most recently, I was working with Urban Company in KSA as a Category Manager, handling planning,strategy,operations for the Repairs category across Riyadh and Jeddah.

Before that, I spent 3 years at PhonePe as a Senior Territory Sales Manager.
My core strengths include people management, sales closures, strategic planning, operational execution, and manpower planning.

My wife recently put in her two weeks and half the people she worked with are just ignoring her messages. They asked to work longer but bc of her new company she cant. Shes moving for about 60% more pay from external audit to senior accounting. Shes extremely sad and im confused why these firms are so uptight about this. She is giving them an additional 4 days which she wanted to use on vacation. Did she do something wrong?

My MOH is probably not going to be able to attend my wedding bc of covid restrictions. Freaking out slightly because I don't have someone close enough to replace her / I don't know how viable her zooming in would be? Any advice / tips?

After 4 years I want to leave law because of my adhd! I have been to 4 different firms and at each place I feel like I have been “found out”. At every place at least one attorney catches me about my attention to detail. I am so down on myself now. I can’t bring myself to care about small details that I know don’t actually matter. I’m currently at a studio that has been good to me. They took a chance and allowed me to change career paths. They gave me numerous opportunities that lead me to now, being the head of a department. The big guys at the top has expressed they could see me as the guy to run the company one day but it’s all talk and possibilities right now. I’ll have to wait for now. On the other hand, I have an offer in hand from a much bigger company to be part of their business development. Any advice?

Howdy…I need a sanity check! As part of my previous role, I reported security non-compliance and gross security misrepresentations. For my valiant efforts I was laid off (despite being a protected whistleblower) and my reports were buried. Everything I did was in line with my responsibilities. I was extremely concerned that systems housing personal credit data on all US consumers were not adequately protected. I essentially risked my job to protect data and I’m not sure if it mattered.

India offer is 10% more as compared to Poland one in terms of CTC, India offer has handsome joining bonus and stocks as well
