1) flipkart 18 L fixed + 2.7 variable + 18L esops over 4 years. 2) BCG 18 fixed + 2.5 variable + 1 L joining bonus + 1.5 L relocation bonus , Flipkart might look like the obvious choice but still wanted a second opinion. If any one can explain how increments happen in these companies YOY.

Why are IT firms not following salary multipliers across all YOE?

Say for a particular tech skill, they will give 20lpa to someone with 4 to 5 YOE, but for someone with 10 YOE and same skill sets, the cieling is fixed at 35lpa. Why is YOE*4 not applicable here?
