Interviewing with Facebook (Meta) soon and have some questions about the mobility and career progression if I am coming in as a product specialist and want to move in to pm work. Anyone with any insights on what the average time for promotions or how hard it is to move to other areas within Meta after joining?

Hi all, recently I had an interview at ICF. Would it be a wise decision to move to ICF from Deloitte?
My main motivation behind this move is to move out of tech consulting & get into strategy/management consulting roles.
Would be great if someone working at ICF could help me with few clarifying questions.
Thanks!

I'll also tell you the pros & cons of HCL so you consider these :
Pros:
1. Literally Permanent job like a govt job - No layoffs
2. Read No. 1
Cons:
1. Less Hikes.
2. If you think 1st con is there in every other company, per bell curve, top 10% employees in each account gets 1st & 2nd ratings, next 80% get 3rd rating, next 10% gets 4th rating (all depends on manager, people serving notice will get 4,but if in that account, no one is serving notice, then manager's grudge gets that)
3. If you think first 2 are in most of the companies, worst policy: 1st rating effective from april, 2nd rating effective from July, 3rd rating @ October (80% of emp), 4th rating effective in next Jan.
4. Variable pay is nearly 10% if you don't reduce it while joining
5. Variable pay is really variable and depends on rating, 3rd rating will either get 80% or 60%.
I think it's like 54996/12 is your monthly var pay
Anyway congratulations and yeah what are your tech stack and exp

HCL recently told if you leave with in a year, you have to repay the monthly performance bonus. So better to check with existing employees on this.
Is it.. ok thank you for that 😊
Whats your current TC and YOE?
Ask them to reduce both components to base salary. Atleast your engagement thing should not be in the variable section.
All of these are negotiable, but don’t know much about service companies.
Yes i will ask but the HR was saying that you will get it in monthly salary.
That is 54996/12
How can I ask him to include it in other monthly component, he will say the same thing that it is already getting paid on monthly basis
For the monthly component, 100% of it gets paid out only if you're greater than 95% billable in your project. If not you won't be getting that component at all. Ask them to reduce both bonuses and add it to other allowances.
Yes thinking of way to negotiate
If you are working in project, u will get it monthly. Else u won't be getting anything.
Also try to negotiate the salary.. if u have no offers join in hcl.. else go for other companies.

Hey, could you please tell me after how many days after hr discussion you got bgv email and after how many days from there you got offer letter.
Within 3-4 days i got bgv verification mail
I have the annual variable component in my salary break up and this pay is totally dependent on performance or rating received during appraisal if the highest rating is received the person will get the full amount and likewise.
I think the monthly one might be similar to this like how the employee's perform and whether the metrics are met or not in the monthly stacks. Just a thought.
You will be getting the monthly variable only when you are on the project and also there will be separate allowance if you are working in different time zone which is not mentioned in your offer.
Check their policy, if you leave early you have to pay back, and other such things are there.
Would recommend avoid joining if you have other offers, use this to leverage further neogations.
If I compare it with what was offered to me then it's okay but you can still ask HR to revise the variable component.
