Hi All, i have total 11 + years of experience in Cybersecurity, and had interview in HCLTech , got positive feedback, my current CTC is 33 lakhs (30.40 lakhs fixed + Variable-2.60 lakhs), how much may i expect HCLTech provide and at which band ?? I work with great people. Really can’t say anything bad about my firm in general either. But…I still dislike the entire premise of law firm life, the billable hour, etc.. I’d love to work in a law school setting as a counselor or something but I can’t afford the pay cut. *sigh* Does anyone feel like being a lawyer is just doing homework all day? First world problems I suppose. I’m very thankful to have a job ❤️

Current CTC 20 fixed. YoE 11.
An offer HSBC is in pipeline ( 28 fixed as per Recruitment consultant). Position offered is Senior consultant specialist.
However I know that there is scope of pushing the offer till 36. Any inputs on getting the offer to desired figure would be helpful.

Paralegals: My firm is looking for a paralegal, and I see the job posting advertising the salary as $65-$75k, with benefits. Is this a good salary for a paralegal (Greater LA area)? I’m not the decision maker, but it’s been a few weeks with very few applicants. I’m curious if there’s something hurting the firm in its search.

For staff/seniors in public accounting. Would you rather be paid 1 1/2 for your tax season overtime hours or would you prefer to wait for a big fat bonus check at the end of the company year? I heard KMPG paid overtime at 1.5 back in the day when the others didn't. I am sure they have now cut that out though.
