Hi all , need a suggestion. I am currently getting an offer of 40 lpa in India with one of the FAANG companies . The role is not in a fancy team and is okayish.

My company has promised me a transfer to KL Malaysia with a salary of 2,40,000 MYR (~40 lpa) but since I am in consulting , my options would remain open in terms of exit and this can open up South East Asia market for me.

I am confused as to which direction to take. Please let me know your pov in terms of opportunities in SEA, salary

I recently gave my small firm notice that I am leaving and moving to another state. I mentioned that I am considering starting my own practice in the new area, and the managing partner suggested that I transition to an “of counsel” position at a 1099 hourly rate (remote) while I got started.
