I have received Offer letter and New Joiner Form from Deloitte India and both I have completed. Now does this Offer letter is enough for the joining day or I will be receiving my induction program mail separately?
Also My BGV is yet to start, however my DOJ is 5th May 2025. Whether Deloitte will allow me to join on the date mentioned or chances of postponing?

Is it common at McKinsey for partners to be heavily involved in projects? I work in industry and I’m on a project now where a Senior Partner and Partner are on most our calls and seem very involved in delivery. The EM takes point on the deck but less on client relationships. I used to work at Big 4 and honestly our partners were rarely involved.

So I chose an offer for Deloitte India over Infosys as a Node.js developer. Joining next week. But most of the time when people praise Deloitte they mean USI so I have been of two minds and wondering if I made the right decision.
Also is travel needed for Consultant designation?
