My boss makes jokes about me being from a different country whenever there is a work meeting or a gathering with coworkers, even though he knows where I am from. This usually occurs when I meet new work-related people or for example if I am in a situation that involves ethnic related subjects.

What is this? This is normal?

Stereotyping?
Racism?

The first time I ignored that, but now it has become a pattern and is bothering me now. I am south-American working in the UK.

Just got another rejection... Is exiting to FAANG or MB really this hard? Trying to go tech.. or mbb, but not getting anywhere. Best way to deal with family members who treat you like the family therapist? Over thanksgiving my aunt disclosed some intense stuff to me and asked me for my help/opinion, and it was uncomfortable. Hello Fishes , I am working in TCS for more than a year now . I started working as a Functional Consultant for ISU billing module . Recently , I have learned ABAP and will start working as a Technical as well . Hopefully I will become a Techno-Functional by the end of 2nd year in TCS . Will I be able to switch after 2 years for better pay and better projects ? Does 2 years+ experience as a Techno-functional considered good ? Will I get interview calls ?
