I recommend the Sellwood area. Safe, fun, tons of parks, bars, shops, etc.
I’m Attorney 1 and I second the Multnomah village recommendation. Great area
Multnomah Village is really cute and just outside of the city. It has a Main Street with shops and restaurants and is adorable. I also live in Tigard and really enjoy it. The homes have yards, schools are decent and lots of parks and paths nearby.
Wow- I just discovered this online today! So thanks for confirming it’s as interesting as I hoped it would be!
Grant park and Beaumont on the east side are good options with good schools. Sw Portland is great but also spendy. Schools are better outside the city. Lake Oswego rules all for schools.
I live in rose city park just outside Hollywood and it’s great. Schools suck but we homeschool for now.
