I second that with Freelancer. Vancouver is cheaper, free of homelessness filth, easy commute to Portland downtown and you’d save in state income tax
I truly hope city claims back it’s charm. All the taxes levied upon locals to help those zombies with free medical, dental and monthly allowances gets stop because it certainly not helping current situation.
Just recently I heard some homeless stole a vehicle, crashed and killed several people and cops can’t do shit. Outrageous!!
I personally think if you're going to buy a home Portland will be cheaper, not sure about actual rent in the city proper though. It's certainly less full than Seattle IMO.

Rent in a very nice apartment is around 1500 in Portland they have a lot of deals with 6 weeks free, car parking is somewhat troublesome however
Vancouver Washington is cheaper and taxes are cheaper
I agree! My sister just moved in there this year. She said a lot of good things about the area and encouraged me to move there too.
Vancouver, WA might be a reasonable happy medium
