So last week I spoke to a recruiter to set up my interview with EY as an SA and she mentioned that the scheduling team would reach out to me to set up the first interview.

I did email her yesterday and I haven’t heard back from her or the scheduling team and it’s been over a week now. Could it be possible that I was ghosted?

Just as FYSA, this is the second recruiter I spoke to during this process and I already completed the assessments and even spoke about comp/benefits. Any help?!

I have an offer to do some consulting for a company based out of the UK (I am in the US). The job would not go through a consulting company but would be directly with the company. I have not done any consulting before so I am not sure how it works, what I would need to set up (they mentioned that I would start a LLC and bill them directly, no idea how to do that), how to determine the tax implications of this, or what hourly rate I would expect. I am an experienced hire. My case might just take you by surprise. I joined EY GDS 10 months back at 40% hike (leaving PwC) and now Deloitte (DIJV) is offering me 2 level up designation at Manager level with another 40% hike. This has effectively doubled my salary in the last one year bt still I am confused to switch or not considering the amazing bonuses GDS payed off today. Please suggest.

Interviewed for a GS-15 (same agency but different office) and totally aced the interview with excellent answers. They know I’m a top performer with senior references. However I noticed there was an internal candidate who has been there for few years and interviewed that’s a veteran. I feel my chances just sank and want to gauge thoughts.

Agencies have a million postings up. Am I dumb to apply to multiple at one agency? Or just stick to one and know that my name is in the pile?

Have been hit w fraudulent charges in FL via Chipotle app; rec'd email that said sender knew my password (was partially correct) & was going to send nude pics of me to my contacts; rec'd email from Best Buy about my email being used to reset my pword (don't have BB acct) & today was notified of a declined transaction in Canada (I'm in TX). Been on the job hunt for the past 3 months. Applied to 200+. Interviewed with 15 companies (big tech + mid sized) but failing at either hiring manager round or ghosted after onsite. I’ve spent hours everyday applying, researching companies and prepping for interviews, watching videos, reading books, but just can’t seem to close the deal. Feeling so stuck, anxious and frustrated all the time.

Any advice how to get out of this situation?

I interviewed with a top big law firm last week for a Senior Project Manager role. I felt fairly good and confident post the interviews. Sadly I was not given the offer. I remember the Director mentioned that I was over qualified for the position. I’m currently a Consultant… I’m guess I’m not sure how to take the “over qualified” response. Prior to the interviews, I felt I needed more experience …. Lol. Anyone else felt the same?
