Hi Bosses! I am moving to West Palm Beach, FL in October and I’m going to be looking for a new job. Does anyone know what the job market is like down there? What are common career paths? I live in Toronto and currently work at a Big4 in an entry level position. I studied Political Science and Social Justice and Peace. How possible is it to build a US-based career doing global public sector work while not being in New York or DC?

Currently a Manager at Accenture in Public Sector. Living in a progressive US city with a few direct flights to Europe, but definitely not New York or DC. PhD in public affairs. Actually I'm on the hiring roster for a P3 role at the UN.

Considering some life choices that would keep me living where I am though. Debating if this would kill hope of global work.

I am working in infosys at 8.5 lpa and holding an offer from JMI ( Jean Martin System) for investment banking analyst at 10 lpa. But I have heard some negative reviews about JMI regarding job security and growth. Can somebody provide insights or share any review on the same ? I got an offer for an L5 role at Amazon Web Services and for a senior role from a non-FAANG company. I'm excited to get into management at AWS but have heard a lot of negative things. Not sure what's the best choice.

I have over 12 years in B2B sales/sales management experience along with a graduate degree. I am wanting to shift gears and I am at a point where I can invest time in myself to learn through practical experience. The new industry I am wanting to pursue is real estate investment. I have read all the books but want some hands on experience on the property management side. How could I best leverage my skills for a role in this, and what should my expectations be for negotiation in compensation?

Let me tell you, I love the flexibility at my firm, OK pay, and I do a great job, and am comfortable pushing back when I have too much work . BUT managers are terrible at planning and recently end up putting me in preventable situations where I need to work 55 hrs or have the staff work the 55 hours. I literally cannot since I have a family and my daughter is only in day care a few hours a day, I'm already doing my max work. Is it crazy that I may want to leave Bc I hate making ppl miserable?

I was looking at PM roles only that were around $110k, one company approached me with Sr PM (title bump) at $110k. I’m getting scheduled for final interview loop next week with this company and planning to negotiate if an offer is extended from them. I did tell them that I’m at final stage with other companies so they can expect multiple offer situation from me. Advice?

I’m intrigued but I want to know 2 things:
1. Culture/WLB - how is it?
2. Realistic market opportunity/opportunity to crush quota (obv dependent on many things)

I.e. going from managing creative projects like TV to managing website builds/UX projects. If so, what was the transition like and what helped you get your bearings in the new environment? I’m thinking about making the switch myself but I don’t have a digital background.
