Can someone please clarify if the motor car reimbursement and telephone reimbursement are paid directly in the in-hand salary or do we have to claim these by furnishing invoice/bills?

I'm a PA in the PNW working for a private group staffing ED's in several hospitals. Recently the group has asked the PA's to take on a couple new roles (triaging and rapid track from triage i.e. straightforward ESI 4, 5). With these changes the PA's are considering asking for increased pay in the form of an addition of a COLA (cost of living adjustment) to our normal salary. Was wondering if any other PA's in the ED have these in their contracts and at what rate.

Just been offered a manager position (people & org consulting) at a big 4 in Qatar for 24k (QAR). Based on previous threads this seems low for the region. Especially as 9k goes towards accommodation (max unfurnished 1br) ....Have I been low balled? Or is this normal?

I had an offer of ~18 LPA from Oracle with 4.2 YOE and I got another offer with 24 LPA along with good amount of joining bonus. Does Oracle try to match the counter offer or not?

Does anyone have any insight into partners retiring early? I am at a point where I need to consider leaving if I am not aiming for partner. I don’t see myself working past my 40s. So we escaped to kickbacks where a customer threw a drink at the waitress who subsequently pulled a 🔪

I’ve been depressed for years now and this past week I lost a dog I’ve had for 15 years; he was one of the only bright spots in my life and I’ve just found it so hard to focus or motivate myself on anything after this. I genuinely feel like I’m at rock bottom, Idk if I’m crazy to feel that way bc of a dog but I used to be able to control this and put up a front but now my depression and anxiety are starting to leak into my work conversations completely unintentionally, I wish this would stop :(
