Hi Fishes,
I Will be Joining PWC AC B as SA2 on Sept 2,2022. Just want to know about Appraisal cycle. Is it Mid Year or Annual appraisal process. Also, will I be eligible for next appraisal cycle ? Tried asking the same Question to HR, but didn't get a proper response. She just mentioned as per company policy.

Accenture culture is great and has arguably better WLB of the large consulting firms - I would tell them you have a higher comp offer from Deloitte and try to get them to match if you choose to go the consulting route
The Accenture offer is for their delivery center / services track, which is a 2nd tier class in the company. Itās a great track for those seeking better wlb and stability, but you need to be ok with not being in āconsultingā.
OP is clearly a Workday practitioner who's not looking to join management consulting to begin with.
Accenture's entire tech consulting is in that track.
The comparable offers at Deloitte and Workday are also obviously in tech implementation roles.
Seems like ACN didnāt give you the consulting track so you can immediately rule that out
Accenture. Your salary at Accenture will grow more quickly than your salary at Deloitte in the short term. WLB will be better as well.
Consider Accenture also has ESPP and the stock tends to perform well - an advantage over working for a private company

If you are really sado masochistic- take the Deloitte offer. It will make you feel better.
Else take ACN.
Workday will be acquired.
At 60 billion market cap...theyāre not exactly small
Workday is 70k in RSUs vesting over 4 years?
I see, I'm used to seeing RSUs as a dollar amount.
I read another poster say the accenture offer is not consulting track. If true, I agree you can forget about it.
The deloitte SC is a great offer. Do it for a year and if you don't like it you can leverage it into something better.

Howād you get Workday offer? Canāt seem to land interview. Go there though
Workday does a LOT of 'shell recruiting'. Where like OPs example, the hiring manager already has someone in mind and the rest of the candidate's are simply taken down 5 round of interviews and rejected for no reason. It's ridiculous!
I was in a similar situation where I simply applied to a role and was instantly called for interviews with a suspicious level of ease. But I could tell me interviews were going VERY well ... But was constantly reminded along the way that "there are 4 other applicants" (like DUH)..
At the end of their stupidly long process, I was told that I did great but they will reach out for the next opening. And they DID as well! I'm guessing I would have been the 'target' candidate in that second iteration. Lol.
Meanwhile I got an offer for 160k at a better firm and asked them to kindly FO!! LOL..

As the folks mentioned the A offer is great though for their 2nd class citizen track bennies are different and upside is different on that track. Would not recommend.
D offer is great. definitely on the high side for that level so donāt expect crazy salary bumps for the future unless you are promoted. This is excluding bonus.
Having worked in their WD practice I think the comments about the terrible WLB is over hyped.
It depends on the project but i personally have not had that issue though I see that burn on very senior people, like PPMDs/SMs
WD is not known to pay very high in terms of salary and though the RSUs arenāt a lot itās something to consider since it can appreciate value overtime. In addition, you have to look at the overall benefits that are offered at each company. The 401k match at deloitte is terrible but they offer a modest pension.

Dang 148k for SC in D is a lot. Advisory or Consulting?
I agree. Originally the recruiter told me anything 130+ was out of range for SC. But I notified them that ACN offered and then D countered.
Whatād you end up going with OP?
Take the deloitte offer and throw their salary ranges for a loop.
What role is this for?
