I am working as "Engineer I" and have 3.9 YOE in manual and automation testing. I have knowledge in selenium using java, cypress with js, Api automation using Cypress, also learning Webdriver IO.

What is the CTC that I should be expecting with these skills if I decide to switch?
Current CTC is 8LPA fixed.

Yesterday only during their press meet they told that they have honored all the offer letters last quarter...and today itself you can see so many delaying and postponing of joining cases in this group only....there must be something very wrong or messed up.

Got an offer from Kantar Consulting to work on their retail/cpg product.
Currently working with IBM with 10+ yoe having joined IBM 10 months back. Currently at 25 lpa and getting an offer of 32 fixed+15% variable.

Now my question is - Is it worth the gamble to leave IBM and join Kantar consulting which btw is known for market research and not consulting.
Also would leaving IBM after 1 year look bad on CV?
