After multiple rounds of negotiation, they have sent me a Offer Proposal, the attached PDF file has the entire breakup of the salary, my name and the designation . They are asking me to resign and show them the proof and they will share the offer letter. I want to join, what should I do? They are unwilling to comply, saying it's the HR policy

I accepted a new offer and put in my notice this week and my company provided a counteroffer. The offer is lower than my new offer but I know it’s the best they can do. I have a governmental entity client in Texas that wants to offer 6 weeks of paid parental leave for all employees, even those who aren’t eligible for FMLA. After the paid 6 weeks, the employee can choose to continue paid leave using any accrued personal leave.

Texas does not have a paid parental leave statute.

If paid leave above what is required is offered for parents, do we also have to provide the same benefit to other employees that are eligible for unpaid leave?
