I have two offers right now :

1st offer, I received from - Dell Technologies , they are giving me

CTC - 33 lakhs (Fixed - 30.50 lakhs and variable - 2.50 Lakhs(8%))

2nd Offer, I received from Accenture , for level 8 role ,they are giving me CTC-40.50 lakhs (Fixed -32 lakhs and variable -8.50 lakhs(27%)

Please give an honest opinion. Although Accenture giving me lucrative package of above 40 lakhs but i dont think they will give complete 27% variable. Please advise what best to do?

One more scenario when dealing with counter offer with holding offer for X.

Two company A&B gave more or less package X+3 Lakh.

Can we still negotiate with company A Or B to get top up from X+3 to make a clear decision to choose over one other.

Is this recommended approach?

I have a background in film, worked in Hollywood and directed an independent film. Been practicing law outside of the entertainment Industry for the last 12 years. I run my own firm now. Any advice on taking on entertainment law and breaking into that area?

Interested in how much others spend on food per month and what that breakdown looks like between at home or ordering out.

My husband and I have no kids and order/go out very rarely, maybe once a month, and our grocery bill for just the 2 of us has risen to around $750-$800 per month this year.

It's starting to feel very unreasonable to spend so much despite not wasting much. I do buy mostly produce but not always organic, and very little meat.

What are your thoughts on pay discrepancies based on family structure? Ex. Two people do the same job but one is paid more or given a larger bonus “because they have kids and you live alone” or “because their family is struggling”. Is that an ethical factor if both employees do the same job at the same pace, quality, etc?
