This is normal at RBEI. All those Women's Day dramas are only for social media publicity.
I have heard from a few female colleagues there that their promotion was put on hold because "you will soon go on maternity leave".
In few project in Bosch, they wont recruit married women because they can't stretch working hours, they will come and go on time. But manager expects them to be available at project needs. By making this point, they would receive less opportunity like hike, position, international assignments, awards, etc.
Even office returning mother after maternal leave, they would be shifted to another projects in some cases.
Pro
Since we decline the meeting during non working hour, whoever takes late meeting calls are promoted, appreciated, hike, etc.
Few managers won't recognise total number of deliverables, only looking into extended working hours
I do not understand how this is immature or harassment. If you do not wish to answer, just say that you do not wish to answer

You don’t have any valid point and simply saying will pass on this info to someone, acting like CEO, etc. Do whatever you want man. No one gives a rat’s a$$ about it.
Please report to recruitment HR immediately about this incident,if the recruitment HR is good then she/he escalate this to manager of the interviewer
Accepting feedback in Bosch is a myth 🤣rather some additional fake allegations against feedback giver will pop up immediately.
Yes..this is bosch culture..Please inform to recruiter immidiately. Try to avoid joining bosch ....If you get any offer from Bosch, donot join..Before joining, you encountered such experience. After joining, you think what will happen ? I am working in bosch..I know the culture and its manager....
Yes she did drop an email to the HR about the feedback and she withdrew her application from the smart recruiter. But I'm amazed to see that this behaviour has been generalized by many employees working.
Agree such questions may be inappropriate but I feel that the manager wants someone to handle some new project and if a person joins and immediately in few months takes ML then they should hire another person to handle that project.
When a experienced project manager run one project, they should always think of risk in resources prospective ,If resources is unable to work due to health issue couple of month 'be it new joiner' or ' existing resources',they should have one mitigate plan for that. Unfortunately,Bosch does not have that educated project manager. That's why, interviewer asked this questions.Nothing else..
It's been a week since my wife had emailed the recruiter. No acknowledgement or not even an apology.
But the most disturbing thing is that i see a lot of comments talking about the project criticality and other factors to consider while recruitment. If this is a criteria considered for hiring pls add them to the basic requirements section like which gender and also with criteria in no of kids with their age. so that only people who meet the criteria will apply and this can save a lot of time for both the interviewer and the candidate.extra time saved could be utilized to take care of the critical project.
This question clearly proves that this HR is entertaining and encouraging discrimination on gender basis.
For woman’s maternity is a choice which needs to be understood by all on this planet 🙏
Glad to know that you recognised this red flag in the first stage and dared to make a right decision!
Otherwise there are still candidates out there who fail to identify this as a red flag and end up joining due to need of job, financial needs, commitment etc
Which means a clear case of exploitation of someone’s financial needs and situations by few unethical HR in organisations.
Kisi ki majboori ka faayda uthana, looks something like this in few toxic mnc cultures.
I have frnd at Bosch. Too much politics. Specially women. Worst culture
Ideally no one should ask a women on her family planning. Since the interviewer has asked, and that itself is good suggestion to not to join the organisation.
Cannot blame the manager entirely. But maybe the questions could be worded better.
There are instances in the team where some women have joined the new organization though they know they are leaving in 3 months and getting married shifting abroad.
The resources billed with maternity leave cannot be replaced or rehired as they are still in billing. And if they go on leave within 3 months of their joining, the KT is lost and there is always a risk they may not join back.
It's all about work ethics which some don't have and others are affected because of it.
Why candidate wil join for 3 month in one company wherever she is confirmed that she will relocate to out of india immidiately after marriage and bosch has 90 days NP from day one of your joining ? You should not ask personal questions during interview to any candidates untill candidates disclose any personal stuff during interview.
Moreover you should be more careful or sensitive enough to deal with women candidates.
Right mindset always important to be a successfull leader or manager ...
Few unethical people think that woman’s are Machines to deliver a baby!
- because unethical companies and managers and hr expect to push the baby plan. This is exactly similar to few in-laws with zero empathy, who expects to have a baby asap.
Bacha hai halwa Nahin 🙄
Basic common sense and understanding is required to know that it’s a choice of woman to have a baby, it’s a blessing to have a baby considering lot of health related issues now a days and many reasons.
So these HR must stop this nonsense interview drama and respect humanity!
