I'm currently on the lookout for SOC Analyst or any other entry level cybersecurity related roles. I'm struggling and unsure where I might be going wrong. Any advice on how to improve my chances or connect with opportunities would be greatly appreciated!
I bring 3 years of local IT support Specialist experience, Masters degree in IT and possess industry renowned certifications like Microsoft SOC Analyst SC 200, EC-Council CCT, PCNSA, CCNA, COMPTIA Network+ and more.

Is it possible to transition from antitrust litigation to general litigation?

I do sales for a major engineering firm. Focused on new business and exploring new markets. Last year I was in the top 50% for order intake, and first in number of projects won along with number of new customers. I think this is extraordinary given the effort it takes to win new business.

For next year my goal increased by 2.5X, and less of what I bring in counts towards that target. I really enjoy my job but I will essentially be getting a large pay cut. Lost in what to do besides quit??

Does anyone have any advice on how to shift from a specialist (paid advertising) to a more strategic (in digital marketing) role? I've been job searching for a couple of weeks and would love to be considered for roles outside paid advertising but it seems to be extra challenging this time of the year.

Hi all - Trying to pivot into Cybersecurity/Infosec after 7 + years of experience in Network Engineering. No security related certifications. I have enough work experience in network security to match 60-70% of job requirements for infosec positions. Capable to get CEH/OSCP certifications in a few months, but want to wait until I get my foot into the door before investing 2-3K on these certs. Any advice for me will be greatly appreciated.

I need help. I work in performance analytics, but leading projects surrounding privacy, consent, auditing, and a lot of things legal related. I already feel underpaid, but now I also feel like I'm being placed in charge of things above my pay scale, but maybe I'm wrong 🤷🏽‍♀️. I am looking for a entry level position in cybersecurity.

What is the standard yearly hike in IT Security industry in North America? I have worked for 7 months in Threat Intelligence in a company in Canada, and I got a yearly hike of just 3% in my first appraisal cycle. My manager says that you get 3% when you are meeting expectations but not going above and beyond. Is this the standard or am I being underpaid? According to me, I haven't gone above and beyond every day, but there are some things I did work on exceptionally well.

When it comes to education and application of the knowledge, what is preferred, masters in cyber security or various cyber security certifications in regards to application at work?
