Decided that I’m leaving audit today. Trying to understand the full range of opportunities in forensics. Will have my CPA and CFE. So far, I understand that there are client-serving firms like FTI and then the B4 will have forensics arms as well. What are some other forensic accounting roles? Pros and cons? Better than audit? Honestly just looking to learn anything.

I think it’s so crazy that once you sign-full time as a CW, you can’t freelance as well. Feels like there’s so many opportunities out there for freelance roles but the full-time gig steals us from them ☹️

I'm getting a MAcc to career change to forensic accounting. What opportunities are available to me with a data analytics heavy MAcc? I'm also tacking on 2 graduate certificates in Applied Statistics and International Economic Policy? For those in the field, would that be useful or not useful (i.e. waste of time)? I'm interested in investigations but also analytics, financial modeling, and expert witness services. Throw in salary potential for bonus points. I'll be getting my CPA, CFE, and CAMS.

Desperately want to get into healthcare strategy consulting. 13 years of healthcare clinical experience including project work. MBA. But keep getting told by recruiters that I don't have enough experience to be a Consultant or Manager but that I have too much experience to enter in every level such as a Senior Associate. Hi fishes, my friend recently had a bitter experience with Dish Network. So her profile was shortlisted and they asked few questions over email. It did take good 2hrs to answer and she replied back. HM said we are good to go for interview and sent an invite. On the day of interview nobody turned up, neither they gave an update later. She did follow up for a couple of days but no response. Is there any reason why this happens ? Me being in HR field felt this to be a little unprofessional.
