Round 1: HR round. cleared.

Round 2: Hiring manager round. Went well.

After 2 weeks they said Role no longer available. It was L5 supply chain role. This happened in April. Can I apply again in Amazon? Has anyone else had a mentor (assigned to them by the Company) who seemed to have it out for you? I mean downright sabotage to make you look bad left and right. I didn’t realize it at first. She was fake friendly, but she was discrete too. Some of the executives thought she was amazing, but I had to clean up her work all the time. She wasn’t above me either on the chain of command. Later I found out she had tried for the exec assistant role and they didn’t choose her, they wanted me instead.

Let's say Family consists of husband , wife and a kid . A colleague got offered a role at Walgreens for $94k as a fresh grad. Was this just a total rip off from Walgreens or is this actually average base salary for Walgreens as a fresh grad?

I worked in PwC for 1.5 years and the moved to Oracle on last July with 50% hike(CCTC is 14.5LPA). I was hired for Application Developer 2 but often I’m getting QA work and I don’t like this job. So looking for a change.

If I leave Oracle before 12 months I should repay the amount I used for relocation purposes. ( I used around 3L )

Increasing CTCs in india is the single greatest hindrance from becoming a 5trillion economy. Opportunity cost to leave the job and start something of your own is widening. Further are these salaries even sustainable. Revenue of companies hasn't kept pace with compensation increase in india and it's a bubble which is soon going to burst. I'd think twice before accepting the offer in excess of 50% hike
