Lately I find myself regretting not pursuing a professional degree; like medicine or law or accounting or engineering. All these professionals can be consultants but the reverse is not true.

Looking for advice on starting a post consulting law career.

I graduated with a JD/MPP, passed the bar, and immediately started at a consulting firm. I’m coming up on my 2 year mark and want to make the switch to practicing law. I’ve been doing human capital consulting in the government space.

Anyone have a similar background? Or know ways to make the pivot? Thanks!

Would it be hard to get a exp associate role in advisory at a B4 as someone with about 10 months in audit at EY, 7 months experience in corporate accounting at a F300 and CPA? Hated my time at the F300 but had thought the grass would be greener in industry. I was lucky enough to have been hired by one of the worlds top consulting firms, worked with a whole lot of big clients and travelled a lot.
