TCS is the worst company one can be in.
Cheap mindset management cares more about timesheet, wfo, forceful mandatory trainings, imposing strict restrictions on laptop, access to personal docs only via vpn,no employee well being no salary hikes nth at all.90% projects filled with freshers coz they cost less.No WLB for good dedicated hard working employees as they are punished with more and more work, leaves rewards mostly for people who don’t work. But no issues kyunki job security hai 😂

EY recruiting is such a mess. Applied and did a pre-recorded video interview, heard nothing for like 3 weeks. Then I get a random call saying they liked me and would I be available to attend an interview the following day. I say yes but never receive an email or additional details. Call back the number and it goes to voicemail. The following week I get a rejection email. Just so frustrating EY

All of your statements here are mere assumptions. And the last conclusion you derived from these assumptions is laughable and incorrect . Everyone is making their contribution in their own ways for achieving the 5 trillion dollar economy . You do whatever you feel like and a last suggestion from me - never give advice until asked .
@senior enginnering lead : Brother you can well within your limits stop from responding if you don't agree with my viewpoints assuming you're not the founder of this app. It's people like you who can never think beyond salaries and hike and act like a gossiping aunty on this platform about salaries
Also you just contradicted your own statement. You gave me a suggestion/advice without me asking for it.
Well, the thing is india is a cost centre. You are completely delusional to think if Indian IT engineers are now any quality. Only top 1-2% are the best of the best who can actually are employable at international level.
All companies are for profit, they only care about their margins. These salaries won't sustain.
People now at 2-3 yoe getting 18-20 lpa , with average skills in a average company. After 3-4 years, they will need 40+ lpa at 6-7 yoe.
They would again hire 2-3 yoe at 18-20 lpa and start firing at 6-7 yoe. This is going to happen, sooner or later.
Now ask yourself, how many companies can pay so much money for 6-7 yoe while maintaining their margins and profits?
See around you, neither skill of people has increased that much nor the economy.
Do you know
how much Infosys spends on buildings?
how much freshers CTC they increased in the last decade?
how much they earn from clients by showing employees designation a level greater?
I worked in Infosys too and since I am from non IT I am grateful to everything that Infosys gave me. That's the thing there is good and bad.
I agree with you that these days ppl are creating CTC bubble. But 50% cause behind this is MNCs. If you remember in 2015 Infosys interviewed 70000 freshers for PR stunt and hired 0. Check news.
Looking at the profit during pandemic they proposed hybrid model. 70-80 % employees have below 5 yoe that means mostly unmarried. Why would they rent a flat and what benefit they will have working from flat instead of home town. Due to this many ppl opted for a switch.
It is the companies that started giving more then candidates made a bee line for switching.
Appreciate the good and speak out the bad because realisation comes only when you realise it exists.
Well it depends on so many stuff. We can’t just make this assumption out of nowhere.
If you’re working at a firm that pays really good to the onsite people and you’re part of that team from India. Then they can afford you to pay you really well as well ( and it would still be feasible and sustainable for them )
It also depends on the business model of the company. If they are cash intake company and owes less debt in the market. Then you can chill as well.
Software companies make millions and billions in revenue. So, large companies can afford to pay huge salaries to attract the best talent.
