Around 7:15 PM at Bent Tree Apartments in Centreville, VA, someone tried to enter our apartment—pushing the door handle for about 3 minutes and then banging really hard on the door for another 3 minutes without identifying himself. He was wearing a jacket similar to the one in the picture, had his face covered, and was approximately 5’9”. Police arrived around 8 PM and took a report. Please stay alert in the surrounding areas.

I'm not a reporter, I'm just a citizen who took a picture during an event and uploaded it to my social media account. Turns out a digital media wrote me to have permission to use my picture, and when I said yes, they said they were looking for some other picture because I had already given permission to the competitors, which I didn't.

I'm American, but my family is mostly Colombian. I was told my aunt and cousins would come here for 2 weeks. I discovered they were going to be paid to appear in a famous Hispanic TV show, where a "judge" receives a case, hears the plaintiffs and defendants and renders a verdict. But of course, it's all fake and payed 😂 turns out she wanted me to go there (even though I don't work for that TV network) so she's sure she'll be paid at the end of the show. Wth did I just do.

Why does NBC News pay incredibly low wages? There are people with 5+ years of experience and many went to ivy leagues making $20 - $26 an hour as full time employees… What is going on?

One of my direct reports has asked about going part time. They currently manage special reports in a bi-weekly publication, working closely with sales, freelance writers, and an internal designer. Job duties are primarily project management and editing/proofreading. As the first read on articles, they need to have an understanding of the material (business/regulation). Has anyone had experience with job sharing in this type of a role?
