I have 11.5 years of IT experience, including 4 years as a Scrum Master managing end-to-end Agile delivery and client-facing engagements. Deloitte has offered me 15 LPA fixed at the Senior Consultant level.

My current company (CGI has countered with a 16.5 LPA fixed retention offer.

Deloitte India is my preferred choice for long-term growth and exposure. In such cases, does Deloitte usually stretch the fixed CTC further or hold firm?

I have a team that just completed an audit, on time, on budget, resulting in a happy client which makes me a happy partner!

Looking to transfer into a client associate role (unregistered at the moment, but willing to obtain). Currently have ~1.5 YOE in valuation (financial statement analysis, modeling, etc.) I get that those skills could be unrelated to a CSA role, but I think there could be some similarities. Investing in big law: I just started working and since student loan interest is frozen, how do we invest that money in the meantime? I’m maxing out my 401(k) but I want to invest anything over that. The only thing I know about investing is Robinhood lol. Also pre-tax 401(k) or roth 401(k). 3rd year associate. Former fed law clerk. Working at ID firm. Doing slip and falls and wrecks. Recently received big law offer to do products. Really want to go. Gave notice to current firm. Current firm really wants me to stay, counters that it will try to get me salary as close to big law offer and give me complex work. Stay at ID firm or accept big law offer?
