Digital interview process ?
Anyone with recent experience recruiting for Boston Consulting Group? Got in touch with a recruiter through referral, was directed to submit an application and already finished my pymetrics. Anyone know when I would be able to hear back and what the hiring timeline looks like? Recruiter suggested to get back in a few weeks but isn’t it too slow? McKinsey sent me an invite for 1st interview in a few days after they received my referral.

Usually does not happen such things, not sure in data science field.. but u could do couple of courses from udemy and share the completion certificate anyway, this will be good learning and a kick to complete it. All the best

Please validate the offer properly. Recently, a friend of mine fell into a scam where he cleared all interview rounds and received a lucrative offer. However, there was a catch—they asked him to take a Power BI course from their suggested website, which was quite expensive. They assured him that he would receive a joining date only after completing the course. When he validated the offer with the company’s officials, he discovered it was a scam.
So, my advice is to conduct thorough background verification of the offer, especially in situations where they ask you to purchase a course.
Can you share your offer letter ?
Same scenario in my case also. They provide Offer letter and one link to purchase one course on Deep-Learning and Power BI through Microsoft professional certification within 15 days for at least 2 years of certificate validity and then they said like after the final round of interview they will commit the date of joining. Incidentally, I purchased the course which was around of Rs(17,000). And now the HR person is not answering my call. Such level of fraud.
