I see in spite of 1-year anniversary of the bowl, the numbers didn't increase much. I know there are many other forums (like whatsapp groups) with similar userbase/members which maybe inhibiting sign-ups and activities. But one key differentiator is that Fishbowl groups are anonymous.

Dear Bowl Members,

I beleive all the members of this group are in the communication and branding industry - a field where proactive communication and community participation ideally should be the highest but it's not so as of now. Instead, consulting, tech, developer bowls are more active than this bowl.

My company has given me a promotion without a raise. Any suggestions on how to deal with this?

Little background:

Asked for promotion in late 2020 - was required to skill up, after skilling up, asked again about when I'll be promoted and was denied because there is no "vacancy" for it.
Got my annual hike in Oct 2021 without the promotion. I asked HR last week again and got a random announcement email saying my promotion is w.e.f Oct 2021. ( and no raise for the newly promoted role).

In an increasingly hybrid/remote working culture, how do you educate and convince your business stakeholders to not do info overloads with emails? The risk of people not being aware is there but sending separate emails for every sub-program, webinar is annoying (as a receipent) I understand employee perspective.

Salary package for communication exec with 10 years work ex

I’m looking for mentors in branding. Branding is something that I studied in my MBA days.. all that I know is what’s there in the internet. I am looking for a mentor who could take me under their wings and teach me all about branding.

Do mid size companies do brand studies? What tools / methods are used (I'm guessing most won't do this given that it's not cheap)

Can anyone concur the following, working on multimedia editor (Video) (4-6 YOE) requisition:
1. The average rate for freelancer - ₹700-1200 per hour
2. The average compensation package for a full time editor: 7-9 LPA
