After you got an offer (from Industry), if you are interested in another role, would it be ok to interview (but retain the offer) till you get a decision?

Some of it has to do with how the biz team is presenting, but has anyone else run into this? I’ve not seen another industry where an outright refusal to redline exists, let alone one where negotiating legal terms costs 5x!

Why did you pick accounting as a major? I picked it because it was a safe choice and I just wanted a decent job after college.
