Hi Fishes, I am having a salary discussion at BCG Gamma for a lead data engineer position. Could you please suggest what should be the minimum salary for this position. Current CTC : 24 fixed YOE: 8+ Current Designation: Senior Data Engineer II . Also, is it worth to be in an engineering position at BCG Gamma, considering that I am currently working as core technical developer in a good product based organisation.

I am looking to make a career change to HR. I currently make 75K as a sales and development coach. I had a recent offer for a state government position in a talent acquisition role but I’d be taking a $25K pay cut. Hi fishes, I got 5+ years of work ex of which 2 years was in domain non IT job. While joining Accenture I was offered level 11 (As SAP functional CONSULTANT) while I believe I should be at level 10. Why are IT firms not following salary multipliers across all YOE?

Say for a particular tech skill, they will give 20lpa to someone with 4 to 5 YOE, but for someone with 10 YOE and same skill sets, the cieling is fixed at 35lpa. Why is YOE*4 not applicable here?
