Now he also said my CTC has to be shared with mgmt and get the approvals, now im not sure if I get positive feedback or negative as I see ppl talking about HCL packages and bands. I've been working at a government agency for 6 months, helping to stand up a new team. The job involves interacting with real estate developers. One of the developers reached out to recruit me for a similar position that will pay more than $50k my current salary. I feel guilty, especially since I'd interact with my current team on the other side. It's a hard to turn down that salary, though I feel guilty since my team is thin, and it's only been 6 months!

Applied for a position in Johnson and Johnson Canada. Reached the final round 3 weeks back. After not getting any updates I emailed the HR a couple of weeks back. They responded back telling me that they’ll have an update for me the next week. Again I emailed them on Thursday asking if they have anything for me before the long weekend ( Good Friday & Easter). I am having HCL offer of 19 LPA but I have got counter offer from other company of 21 LPA, if i again go to HCL and ask for better compensation means will HR agree and process for more than counter offer ?
