I work at Deloitte UK as a senior con. I have a question regarding UK work experience and whether it adds value to the resume? I am here on skilled worker visa with an option to settle here, but wish to come back to India. My idea is to work here for a few years and build up some UK consulting experience. Hoping that this will help me when I move back to India. Is this a sensible idea? Your inputs will be appreciated.

I know cases rarely make it to trial anymore, but I’d like to develop my skills as much as possible to position myself well when they do. I'm a first yr attorney at an insurance firm and am in the process of interviewing for an in-house position at a tech company. When I was a device driver developer with 2 years relevant experience I had got calls from Nvidia and Qualcomm. Unfortunately I wasn't able to crack the interviews back then.

For next 5 years I worked mostly on application development and broadening my exposure. I am not getting even a single call from such companies now.

Is it a good idea to rebrand myself as a device driver developer so that I can get calls again?
