Candidates nowadays don't even have the decency to attend their own interview on time even after rescheduling it thrice as per their availability.

Sick of this, even though I am not from HR 🤦🏼‍♂️

Currently interviewing with Amazon for an associate corporate counsel role. After the first round, I was quickly moved on to the written exercise but its now been a month since I submitted it and I haven’t received any update on my application despite following up with HR once. I had a preliminary phone screening with a recruiter who asked my salary range. I tried to ask for their budget because i didn’t have the full position details, but they didn’t provide and asked again the range I was hoping for. I did end up responding, and secured an interview within the next couple of weeks. If all goes well will there be room for negotiations if I get an offer?

Month out from trial. I represent one of two codefendants. Other codefendant’s experts have been deposed. Mine are next week. Pl just cancelled them with no explanation. What could the explanation be for why you wouldn’t want to depose a defendant’s experts? The only thing I can think of is they want to try and settle with us or surprise them at trial.
