Is it common that companies are holding to release offer till end of notice period. (18 days left for LWD)

I keep giving interviews & they say you are selected in feedback but HR still does not contact.

Awaiting offers from Birlasoft, LTI, Tech M & Wipro after L1& L2 rounds with positive feedback.

Is it because of expected CTC?
I asked for around 10% of current offer which I assume is fair enough.

Please let me know your thoughts?

Hi all 🙂👋🏻 Apologies for such a late post. I have an offer of 18 CTC(1L joining bonus) from Larsen & Toubro Infotech & 12.5 fixed from IBM .
My joining in both are in around May last week. Tomorrow my IBM pre onboarding HR will connect with me. Should I ask for a counter offer tomorrow itself?
Or should I ask 2 weeks before joining?
Many told me that companies revise CTC when the joining date is near, else they show less interest. So should I go for it now itself?

There is a clause of total 3 years ( 2 Yr PGDM + 1 Yr Extra).

Company is promising a good career progression after MBA.

Right now, I am working as a Consultant and have 3.6+ Yrs of experience in Oracle CX domain, CTC 8LPA. Started my career as an Analyst (A4) in this company only.

Let me know if I should go ahead with MBA or change the firm.

During HR round in Accenture, we have agreed on 8.1 LPA as fixed but after document upload I got a call from different HR and he is offering less package than before around 6.78 LPA but after some discussion I have to agree on 7.5 LPA.
