Is there anyone who can explain the root cause of this issue?
When I scale down node count to zero in each ASG of an EKS cluster and when I scale up back , the EBS(PV) volume gets deleted. Though EBS volume had "delete on termination" flag set as "No". After scale up PVC status is still showing bound and when I describe the pvc it's actually holding the details of deleted PV (EBS) details. Now I can't understand why this EBS volume gets deleted?
