Hi Fishes, need help understanding actual monthly in-hand salary from this offer.

I have received an offer of around ₹53 LPA CTC from TCS, but I am not very clear on how much of this will actually be paid monthly versus quarterly/annually as the components are too complex to understand as an outsider. Please help me.

Flew for the 3rd time since last March. I LOVE how all these consultants (and yes you can tell they are consultants) board the plane early with status. Who really wants to be on the plane longer than they need to be during Covid? I will board last thank you very much. Status be damned.

Obviously many of us get paid very well and there is an expectation with work demands for being paid that high. But what’s too much? How do you set a limit to preserve your mental health? I find myself guilty for taking time to decompress but I know I come back to work refocused after I do it.

A friend of mine works with TCS as an Analyst, his base location is Bengaluru but he is been working from his hometown in Lucknow since the first COVID lockdown. Now he is being asked by his team to work from Ahmedabad, where his direct supervisor (manager) is working from. In this case, according to TCS talent policies, what is the procedure and the benefits that he can avail, as part of project initiated relocation? Also, how long it takes to get base location changed through HR in TCS?
