Why did Toronto (or Canada?) change the exit signs from the classic red EXIT sign to the green running man? Wouldn’t it confuse more people especially elders in finding the exit?

Also isn’t it a waste of money for businesses to replace perfectly functional exit signs when renovating?

I’m planning to accept a new position in the next couple of weeks, but I want to negotiate my salary. I’ve been a NP for about 5 years and have been making around $110k. How could I try to negotiate for $125k-130k?

Will this be an issue in joining... Won't this BGV completed before releasing the offer letter.. is there any phone number i can speak to them or will I get any updates after successful completion of BGV... Need your inputs on this.. I’m a PE ops VP at a larger fund. Currently making $350k cash comp with about $1M carry at work per fund. Realistically, what would I be looking at in terms of cash/carry comp increase if I were to be promoted up one level (one below partner).

I have an offer in PE VP role in Citco and JPM and I am at cross road on which is one to company to choose. Their pay is very similar but JPM is offering an attractive signing on bonus. I need a honest advise on which is better between these two firms.
