What’s your worst proposal writing experience?

I accepted an offer from Cognizant for a consultant position a little less than a month ago. My joining date is 5th September and I would need visa sponsorship. How difficult is a lateral switch?
Currently working as Business Analyst (IT service management)
Client handling, managing several IT teams, releases, incidents,changes.
Defining UI/Functional requirements of replatforming systems. Integral part of a replatforming project of enterprise IT landscape, managing IT operations BAU, Hypercare etc.

But not an integral part of Technology/Dev team. I.e. low level system knowledge.

What are the possibilities to switch to BI/Data engineering etc?!
