Hi Fishes, I joined LTI on 21st Nov as Specialist- Product Engineering. While HR discussion, hr told me that this for LTI product FOSFOR. After joining one person gave me assignment on java+react js, which I completed and shown to them. Now they said your RM will get you a project.. Is it that now they are not considering me for products? In iprofile it shows project name as ABAS but manager name as RM name. Can someone help me?

How do I prepare a strong story for exit conv to industry? My leadership will try their best to retain me. They have strongly supported me throughout my career, so I might end up burning bridges. I want to leave because I don’t want to continue with the project (don’t have option of changing projects, I am a SME, strong knowledge dependencies, been here for 3+ years). Got sort of an exploding offer on hand. Verbal only so far and requiring decision by Monday pretty firm. Have 3 more processes ongoing in mid-late stages and expect to wrap up probably next week. Gut feeling is I want to take the company who gave the exploding offer though. Any advice on how I can respectfully wrap up other processes/ask for extension?

Can't really share this with anyone else, so thank you fellow fish for indulging. 3 years in, finally at a point where I can comfortably work 40 hours a week the last quarter+, and still be a trusted team member and major contributor. Normal tasks and collaborations now take me a fraction of the time compared to my first couple years / others on the team. 6 YOE and my TC has also gone up a lot from low 200s last year to high 200s this year. Hope to keep this optimal mix of WLB & progression 🙏

Taking my shot in tech sales. Consulting was great experience but enjoyed the relationship and BD aspect more and didn’t see myself climbing to partner. Starting in a junior BD Rep role to learn prospecting and earn quota history. Took a big paycut for the potential future earnings as an Account Exec. Did I dun goof? Probably. But I’ll regret it forever if I didn’t take my chance now when I’m still single and young-ish.
