I feel you. Makes zero sense. So frustrating. Hopefully your next opportunity will have a solid recruiter. I recently was interviewing with Square in SF. One of their recruiters was so great at communicating I couldn’t believe it! Didn’t get the job but it Gave me hope.

It’s happened to me several times from LA/NY recruiters.

My H1B visa transfer with EY has been approved. We have received the e-approval. Can I now resign or give notice at my current firm? The guidance apparently is to wait for physical copy of the approval before officially resigning. But that date is uncertain and I’m afraid I could get the physical copy a day before my start date or a week after that. I’d like to give my firm around two weeks notice and I am scheduled to start on 27th Sept. Thoughts? As usual, radio silence from my EY recruiter.

Hi there, I'm a recent grad with a masters looking to get into consulting right out of college, was curious if you had any advice on getting to the interview process. I have heard the hardest part is actually getting past the initial application process

People - really struggling with this - was supposed to move to bay area for husband’s tech job. I can work remotely. But with COVID I’m not sure if we should make the move. We feel the world will move to a remote/ WFH mode. We want to buy a house and settle down before our kid arrives. Should we move to a cheaper city like Phoenix so we have a big house for cheap and 2 home offices. Am I missing anything?

The role isn’t consulting but aligned very closely and hyper focused on closing very robust diligence efforts that are similar to a diagnostic assessment. Preferred big 4 experience that loves PMO and due diligence with a smile. 2nd year BA or 1st year C). DM me if interested.

After watching succession it lowkey felt like it was written about the Ford family. Around the time I was watching the show I met bill ford at some event I help organize at the train station being rebuilt. Thought I was on the come up. Couple months later I was laid-off/fired ahah. Wasn’t even a mid manager was just an entry level employee lololol.

If you're on a PiP, is it better to quit just before the end stage, when you get fired, or better to get fired and collect unemployment, but also have a company-based termination on your record
