Got few interviews and went well, but not getting further calls. I am a business analyst with 2.9 years of experience in BFSI. Can somebody help me 🙏 to get out of this situation.

I'm interviewing with KKR for a Principal role in their real estate group. All online salary resources are all in alignment with a total comp of $200k+. I'm assuming based on the average salary reported across these portals for principal that those figures apply to the RE group as well. Anyone have any direct knowledge or can speak to that group's comp?

Is it wrong that I’m just not into PE/VC? It seems to be the most desirable exit for most people that I work with. 3 Things to keep in mind which changing jobs:
1. Always ask dedicated budget for the job before you tell your expectations.

2. Always have atleast 2 weeks of gap before you join any company. You might not understand significance of that but just have a gap.

3. Always talk to people of team you will be joining before you accept offer or atleast before you join company.
