My HR discussion was completed on mid of jan , and I was informed that the offer would be released within a couple of days. During my weekly follow-ups, I was told that the approval was in progress. However, today I was informed that the position is on hold due to the project, and there is no defined timeline.
My concern is how was the complete interview and HR process conducted if the project was not yet finalized?

Like seriously, how is one able to comfortably support themselves in the Bay Area on these new Analyst level salaries at Deloitte? It's not like we're doing anything different than Consultants and most Senior Consultants. TBH it's kind of insulting, and makes me want to get a second job for me to earn enough to live comfortably and save for retirement.

We’re having a baby coming this end of August. KPMG has 12 weeks parental leave. Planning to take 4 weeks in September but I can’t seem to figure out when to use 8 more weeks. I’m so tempted to do Feb-March (peak busy season for our client) but I feel completely bad cause I actually like this client/team and I know how a lot of test work is done. (Senior A.) Can I suggest to my manager that rather than taking leave, to schedule me only 40 hours during these times? Would that be unfair to others?

I'm having total 7+ yoe (5+yrs embedded developer + 2yrs in FuSa automotive) Initially HCL have denied what I've expected for automotive FuSa and they have given an offer of 10LPA with a justification that my relevant experience is less, now I'm holding an offer of 18 LPA and asked HCL for a counter offer for the same position what do you guys think will HCL offer me this much?

Join any dam company in world but dont join lala company HCL. Worked there for 20 days only last yr and 1year later i got my relieving letter after multiple tortures of legal notices for not serving notice period even though when they themselves released me.. from 160k to 0 that i paid them. I could easily sue them for harrasment but i didn't wanted to get involved in useless sh** and waste my time and energy .. BEWARE OF HCL

One of the recruiter told me that you can work from any of the nearest HCL office whether it is HCL technologies or Infosystem.
