Hi folks, this is to everyone who has finished their last round of interviews and waiting for bgv to be completed. Here's my timeline of events:

DOJ: 18th November
Physical background verification on: Oct 28th
Background verification status pending -> offer accepted: 15th November ( it's normally the last Friday before joining)

So to all the guys worried out there because their BGV status is still pending, don't worry it gets completed in the last week a before DOJ.

What are your excuses to leave your current job early for an interview at another agency?

When I tell recruiter about other offer should I mention company name or that their a direct competitor or just say I have another offer?

Since there is a heavy impetus on solving Tree, LinkedList, and Graph problems for tech interviews, it can naturally make freshers believe that these concepts will be used in day-to-day life at work. In reality, most of these DSA concepts are already implemented in some libraries our code uses and we rarely have to code such Algorithms by hand.

Once you get into a FAANG company, is it better to stay where you are or move around? I’m a dissatisfied with my current job but I have vesting stocks, work 9-5, and people to know and respect me. I have received my first offer letter which they wanted me to accept by e- signing it and after i did that theh have sent out form 11 and other documents to be filled in 2 days.
I have never filled form 11 and other personal details untill 1 week before my joining date.

My joining date would be after my notice period which is usually 2 months.
Should I share the person details and form 11 they asked for now itself?
Will it be a problem if i don't wish to join the company later

So I’ve been with a court for a while and honestly the pay sucks compared to what paralegals should be making… the benefits are great though and they match my retirement 100% now that I’m vested at 3 years.I have 4 kids and 1 is getting ready for college. I feel like the benefits are great but I’d rather make more now. I am a previous LEO for 4 years who switched to paralegal so I have my leo retirement. Paralegals here make $28 with no benefits what is a good compromise
