It takes time for approval and she is right, there is actually some changes in workday portal due to which approval sequence has changed. Be Patient, you will get it, also, keep trying elsewhere too as Plan B
What kinds of approval changes? Is it hard to approve/understand ? Most of the product companies are using workday. If its global impact then all candidates will get late offer.
Let me ask you this- What do you think the offer they have made you is exceptionally good or in line with what usually they pay for that position?
If that is on a higher end it might take some time for the HR to get approvals on it. If your interview went really well don't worry it will be done quick max 7-10 days if they need to fill in urgently.
Companies usually don't work like looking for a resource at smaller pay after salary negotiation is done but on a safe note keep other options open
The offer they made is in line with the position offered. The reason i am having second thoughts is because already 2 weeks are over from our last discussion. I guess I have to wait more and hope it ends on positive side.
Why will they delay time once yoy accepted salary?
Tech Mahindra 1 - that doesn't sound right as I won't like to risk resigning from my current organization if I don't have offer letter in hand. What if they don't give offer letter later? Can I really go back with just salary breakup in hand?
Yes they are also evaluating other candidates. If your are cheap candidate for them you will get offer letter shortly.
Continuously look for other opportunities till you get 2-3 offers in hand.
Hi OP, how long did it take for HR discussions to start after the technical interview. My director-round I cleared last Tuesday, but seems like HR is taking their own time to proceed with HR discussions :(

Don't worry. For me they took 25 days due to benchmarking as I was insisting for 80% hike. That delay helped me for notice period as well... Too much hiring is going on, hence HR is taking time..
