Hello, I could use some advice regarding my compensation. I have 1year and 9 months of experience in social media as I worked with a multinational agency in the middle east. I am currently pursuing a master’s degree in marketing and will be graduating in 2023. I am doing a summer internship in marketing in a startup in Montreal. I would like to continue with them as a part time employee until I graduate and was wondering how much should I ask for as an hourly pay with my experience?

Hi! I have a quick question and could use some advice:

I have 1 job offer that is an hour away and pays 45k, after negotiations (Research Associate Position at a University) .

I have just interviewed for a position closer to home and a base salary of 65k, but haven’t heard back from them in about 2 days (He said he would make a decision by yesterday and I’ve reached out).

How do you decide how much notice to give when you're leaving a firm to go to a competitor? I know that no matter how much notice I give, they'll walk me out the day I give it. I don't want to be in limbo for 2-4 weeks while my licenses are still held by the former firm before I can start at the new one. Considering the recession and US market scenario, help me understand if it will be a good move to join BlackRock OR should I continue with Walmart with the current compensation.
