Wondering if anyone can share the approximate timeline after applying to Target Corp. to hearing something from them. Applied 9/1 and on the applicant portal the status still says “in progress.” I got a great internal referral, but I’ve not reached out to the hiring manager. 😬 I know there were a few hundred applicants — what’s a realistic timeline and what could I say to the hiring manager if I reach out to them. For in-house counsel roles, does firm prestige matter? For example, would the fact that an applicant is from Sullivan & Cromwell vs, say, White & Case matter at all, or is it much more about experience/interview? Pre-sales and solution ownership of sales pursuits data analytics related services for cloud b. Own end to end RFP or RFI etc. Does it mean work is on presales only ?

I have an interview with Korn Ferry for an associate principal role and am curious about others’ experiences have been with work-life balance here. What's the biggest health myth you've heard that you'd like to bust? Mine is that supplements are always a healthier option than prescription or OTC meds. A lot of the supplements on the shelf contain all types of unnatural ingredients and can still be harmful depending on the dosage.

Looking at starting the CFA journey. Schweser was recommended, but is it worth the added cost? If I'm subscribed to the idea that I am going to be spending 20hrs a week studying, is that sufficient?

My best ideas and improvements come from client critiques but usually from clients I'm close w/ give honest feedback and criticism. What and when do you ask for feedback?
