Hi Fishes, I grabbed an offer at Accenture with 12 LPA fixed for Level 9. I'm not getting a retention offer from my current company at 13.5 lpa. How do I go about a counter offer with Accenture HR? Also tell me how to approach this situation smoothly.

I have 10 yoe out of which 3 years into consulting, I drew 7.8 lpa until recently. I was very demotivated and wanted to change my situation. 2 years ago I got an opportunity to start a project from scratch, thinking this is my chance to showcase my skills and get a promotion, I worked my ass off day and night, brought confidence with the client to start the project full fledged with 10 additional resources. For this, all I got is a 4% increment on the pretext that I will be promoted this year but unfortunately cognizant changed the annual promotion process to something which becomes irrelevant for me. I started feeling that I am incapable...Frustrated and disappointed I aggressively started looking for opportunities outside. Recently I got into a much larger organisation at a package off 22 lpa. What I went though and what you are going through is exploitation, believe in yourself and get out asap.
Totally look for another job.
Its ok you can try in another job and can get more like what you are really deserving so dnt get any kinds of negative thoughts and just appear for some interviews and ask for 100%. Just make sure you give your 100%
