After you are stealth laid off, other than job search, what do you do? I assume they won’t give you work and even if they do, you can politely decline? Higher offers at 27-28 with more fixed pay is from contract and hire/fire type companies. Mostly indirect hiring instead of direct employment with the final employer, means higher pay with lower jon security - we get little more pay, companies get the option to let go with ease later!
