And will Capgemini change the offer if I provide the counter offer or will they revert the offer?

Busy season was rough, things are looking better now as things return to normal. Still working crazy hours if you count the daycare duties on top of utilization targets.

Hi Fishes, I am working as an IC in QA role with more than 15 years of experience, not getting good hikes and currently having 27.20 lakh INR, which I think its too low as per my experience range. Need some suggestions: My current company is on a layoff spree and 2 rounds are already done and I can foresee another round coming very soon.

While I am trying to switch to other companies, I’m not able to reveal the real reason from my side for the job change, as if I say, it’s because of layoff fears than it’ll reduce my negotiation power.

What other reasons can I give as I’ve just completed 9 months here and it’s too soon for any other company to take me in.
